Jeff completed another task on my 'to-do' list. He transformed our utility space in the basement from a dungeon to a more workable space. This part of the basement will remain 'as-is,' with the possibility of Jeff building a folding station for folding clothes against the wall. On the opposite side of the wall, we hope to turn the other dungeon area into a bathroom and living room. Probably not until next spring..

How much of a project was it painting the floor? Brian has been dying to paint our basement and garage, but I don't feel like taking on another project unless I see a lot of worth in it. The re-do looks great in your pics.

It's a amazing transformation! It no longer looks like a dungeon. Hang those light "fixtures" I found at Sage and Roses for another pick me up!

Painting the floor wasn't bad at all. Jeff just scrubbed the area really good, let it dry overnight, priming took about an hour, and then painting the next day took another hour. And, it makes a WORLD of difference.
